Our Client located in Toronto Downtown is currently seeking a Senior HR Manager, This will be a 4 days in the Office and 1 day from home.

You will be leading a team of 2 to 3 HR Members.

You will provide support to human capital management, organization design, change management, talent management, training & development, workforce diversity and performance management. Coach and train leaders on talent and performance management, including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions. Practice change management by influencing organization design, roles & responsibilities along with supporting shifts to the future state.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the Strategic Guide: Provide expert consultation and insights to business leaders on talent strategy, organizational design, and critical people decisions.
  • Drive Change: Actively partner with the leadership team to strategize, plan, and execute major organizational and corporate HR initiatives.
  • Coach & Develop: Coach leaders/employees to enhance their people management capabilities and grow their teams.
  • Design & Implement: Lead the planning and implementation of new/revised HR programs, processes, and policies that are fully aligned with the business’s unique needs.
  • Connect the Dots: Collaborate seamlessly with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to access resources and deliver integrated HR and business solutions.
  • Use Data to Influence: Leverage workforce data and analytics to provide people insights and recommendations to assess and improve HR program performance.
  • Act as an Advisor: Provide technical, holistic advice across the full scope of HR, including change management, total compensation, talent management, and compliance.

Requirements 

  • Experience is Key: You must have 10+ years of dedicated HRBP experience within a total of 15+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Expert Knowledge: Proven experience in key HR disciplines: performance management, employee relations, organizational design, change management, and employment law.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with HRMS platforms and a keen interest in leveraging advanced technologies (like AI tools) in HR and business processes.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A CHRL designation is a strong asset.
