Our Client located in Toronto is looking for an HR Director. This is a Permanent Role & a Hybrid Model.

Looking for someone who has experience working in Hospitality Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the entire HR department, including employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, talent acquisition, and training and development.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and programs that align with-in the business objectives and support “people-first” culture.
  • Manage employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and administer competitive employee benefit programs that support  commitment to the team members’ well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of current HR trends and best practices to implement innovative solutions for people strategy.
  • Partner with other senior leaders across the business to develop and implement programs that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
  • Oversee and develop the HR team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 7 years of experience in a progressive HR leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives in a fast-paced and growing company.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building and fostering a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen with a strong focus on people strategy.
  • A passion for the hospitality and entertainment industry is a plus.
