Our Client located in Scarborough (Near Markham Road) is currently seeking a HR Business Partner, This will be a Hybrid role and you Must have some experience working with Union employees. You will be supporting Union, Non Union and Corporate Team.

You will NOT be negotiating any Collective agreements.

This role is focused  on 40% Strategy and 60% Execution, This role reports to the Head of HR.

You will act as a strategic HR business partner to the Ontario leadership team to create, direct and implement the HR plans that support the business strategy.  You will provide support to human capital management, organization design, change management, talent management, recruiting, training & development, employee & labor relations, workforce diversity and performance management. Coach and train leaders on talent and performance management, including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions. Practice change management by influencing organization design, roles & responsibilities along with supporting shifts to the future state.

Requirements – 

  • Looking for 7 to 9 years relevant work experience in human resources with a experience in performance management, talent management & development and employee & labor relations background and driving HR processes going through transformation.
  • Strong HR Business Partner experience along with ability to conduct workplace investigations, workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, organizational change, employee & labor relations and performance management.
  • Able to work in a matrix environment to influence and drive HR best practices across operations and varying organizational levels.
  • Looking for someone who can bring tested ideas, experiences, and best practice to the table.
  • Ideally Nice to have experience in Trades, Construction or Pharma Industry.
