Our client in Midtown Toronto, conveniently located near a subway line, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join their HR Team. This permanent role offers a hybrid work setup.
As the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will oversee full-cycle recruitment processes for various corporate functions, such as Asset Management, Property Management, Development & Construction, Finance, Legal, Technology, and Investments.
This role involves being an Individual Contributor while working closely with HR Business Partners to execute recruitment strategies that cater to the organization’s growing needs.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the recruitment efforts, sourcing top talent, and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process. This role requires a deep understanding of the real estate industry and the ability to identify and attract top talent to support the growth and success.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the real estate industry.
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, department heads, and external recruitment partners.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to evaluate candidate fit and potential.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement employee retention strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and real estate.
- Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment metrics and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of recruitment experience working in-house portfolio management and corporate functions.
- Strong knowledge of the real estate industry and its key players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
